Sukhoi SSJ100 landing in a storm.

The Sukhoi Superjet 100 was the first and only russian aircraft to ever fly for a mexican airline. It flew with low-cost airline Interjet from september 2013 until the airline ceased operations on december 2020 (the airline's last flight was made on a Superjet). the SSJ100 was a big contributing factor for the airline's demise, the aircraft had several technical problems, lack of spare parts and poor technical support. Due to the current political scenario in the world it is very unlikely that we will ever see another russian airliner flying on the western hemisphere.

@RobT_Cockpit_videos Hello, I am developing a SSJ-100 for X-Plane 12, would you (or who flew the Superjet) be willing to help me with any questions I may have.

Que increíbles estos aviones rusos que pueden aterrizar en una tormenta, yo siempre pensé que aterrizaban en una pista de aterrizaje.

At 2:21 the FO switches the captain's windshield wiper from "OFF" to "SLOW" but it just seizes.

Why is the captain wearing a surgical mask?

*As in xx other industries, Russian airplanes are far away from the world level, i.e. Boeing, Airbus, Comac etc. Market share outside Russia/Belarus is 0.x%!* Core problems are high unreliability & fuel consumption, resulting in high operating costs. As in xx other industries, the government invested billions in vain. The same applies to the IT, hardware and software industry, mechanical engineering, vehicle construction, train and shipbuilding, electrical engineering, consumer electronics, optoelectronics, robotics, pharmaceuticals etc. All to far away from world level & zero market share outside Russia.

ssj100 has bad design ... Engines just located 40 sm from the ground ... All dust, sand are sucked by engines.
