Anyone think these balloons are carrying an EMP payload? That late evening in Alaska Wi-Fi went down, yeah. No big deal, but then my phone went dead and went to emergency mode and satellite icon came up dead.. Everything remained off for approximately 5 minutes. Perhaps they could have put holes in the balloons to bring them down slowly, without damage and much earlier. Really, the 'delayed shoot down for the safety of the populace below' explanation needs much more explanation if it is to be believed. "Come on, man."
