I am Chinese and once studied in Canada as an exchange student for two years. I do not understand why many Indian social media platforms like to compare the relationship between China and India with a negative attitude. Personally, during my study abroad, I had a very good impression of my Indian classmates. They were friendly and willing to share their experiences with studying and exams. The Indian students seemed very united; seniors often exchanged learning experiences with juniors, but their perception of China was not negative, and they were quite willing to discuss political issues with me. My personal experience, combined with Indian videos on YouTube, has left me confused about India.

Two thing that, I feel, do work against China in a potential war with India

1. China would not be able to fully commit it's forces to a war with India. It would need to keep a significant number of it's forces back in order to keep focus on potential issues in the South China sea as well as Taiwan.

2. India would likely have better allies. The US for one, the EU would probably play favorites as well. And of course, Japan and South Korea would likely lend support as well. Then, going back to the South China Sea, The Phillipines, Vietnam and other nations that China has been bullying for years would likely take advantage of the situation and help out India where they can. If nothing else, they will likely do things to keep China's Attention divided, as my first point talks about

Is this enough to help India win? Who knows, but I feel they are still points worth considering.

My Maternal Granddad was in the army when I use to talk about Indian military strength he reminded me that the number released to public domain are usually massively understated as military general staff would never want their adversary to know their full strength or weakness so you should never trust the figures. Especially Indian army is way Bigger than what is shown in the figures I would say as much as 50% Bigger.
