Car review in a few | 2018 Volvo XC40 - probably the world's best crossover

The Volvo XC40 takes most of what's great about the Volvo SUVs, shrinks it down a bit, then adds some personality. The result is the best pound-for-pound crossover ever made. Or so Mark thinks.

Great video, very practical everyday testing :-) I think this car is amazing, you nailed it when you said it is so practical, versatile, quite (usually) and comfy, yet manages to stand out from the crowd.
The only quibble I have about one thing you said, and that is the suspension being edgy, but I noticed you were driving the R-Design which has stiffer suspension than the Momentum or Inscription, you could have pointed that out ? also the voice control was once again IGNORED !!

All that perceived practicality....and the back seats don't slide or recline! Still not a fan of touch screens, all those finger marks! Other than that, a really good car.

I drove the XC90, then the XC60 and then the XC40 back to back, don’t do what I did if you really want an XC40. Compared to the others it felt really cheap. A basic XC60 was much better than an R-Design XC40 in my opinion.

Well helloooo funky possums! Excellent review as usual my good man! Looking to replace my GLA with a Tiguan/Ateca type small compact SUV. Loads of other models to choose from so ain't exactly spoiled for choice then. Considering a T4 XC40 in Momentum. Needing feedback from current T4 engined XC40 owners if possible.
