Toyota financial is horrible and no one should purchase a car through them- get financing through your own alternate financial institution.
My brother unfortunately passed in Feb. He purchased his 4-runner through Toyota financial. When we were in the process of settling his affairs a rep with Toyota financial convinced us it would be better to pay the vehicle off ($23, 000.00) vs making payments till the vehicle was paid. We forwarded them all necessary documentation of my brother's passing and advised them to forward the title to my parents address, since mother was the Beneficiary. They did absolutely thr opposite of what the suggested and advised, then would not give us any information, after we paid them over 20 grand to finalize the contract. Totally the worst customer service i have ever experienced. Please please know that if it happened to my family it can happen to yours! We still have not recieved the title, by the way. We have plenty of cars...its the principle of paying and not having peace of mind Toyota financial following through with what they advised...legal assistance has been notified.
