First off I want to thank everybody for watching throughout 2021, thank you to all the usual suspects and to all the new people that I have met ! Well if you get me talking for 39 minutes there’s bound to be a few f#%k ups 😂 I think I said I only listened to the new Running Wild twice, well that’s not true I actually meant to say after two listens of it I was hooked, great album ! I also forgot to give Blaze Bayley War Within Me a honourable mention, I think it’s a great album and I have it on the way ! Cool list. I've heard most of your list with a handful that made my top 20 as well. Accept, Herman Frank, Victory, Halloween, Rage, Hellryder, Brainstorm, Running Wild, Voodoo Circle... the Germans absolutely killed it this year.

One thing I wanted to touch on his how many of these really good Death Metal bands that I missed out hearing over the years. The talent level is so underrated. There's so many of them just really impressed. I've got a ton of catching up to do. The growl, the Texas Chainsaw guitar sound, super fast base and drums. Just incredible. Thanks again for posting.

Excellent video Darcy as always. Yes, there's plenty more to check out. I couldn't believe the amount I picked up this year and still didn't get everything. I still encourage you to check out Blazon Stone though... if you dig RW you at least need to check them out. Some of my favs included Warrior path, Helloween, Crystal Viper, Nestor, Accept... I was pleased Accept was quite high up in your list as I have liked that album more each. time I listened this year. I also agree that the song Overnight Sensation is catchy. I like the tune.🤘

Not surprised to see most of these in here given your love for those bands, No1 was probably the biggest surprise given the other bands in here. I did get around to sampling it but it didn't really float my boat, I should probably have a listen to the whole album though. Roll on 2022!

Talking about the Exodus album... great album and i feel like the vocals are a big step up from blood in blood out. I tried but i cant get into it, yes zetro is annoying on that Album... that beeing said, Rob dukes was the best singer in Exodus, with that guy those last two Albums would ve been flawless.. just my opinion 🤷‍♂️

2021 has been a stellar year for releases for me, with the underground DM I’ve been so into recently!! I understand your opinion on it not being as good as 2020 tho, as there certainly hasn’t been a lot of Thrash metal releases! A few albums on your list I really need to pick up! Great list Darcy! La Torre, Flotsam, Maiden, Accept, Helloween, MSG, KK’s Priest and UDO are some of my favorites as well! I also think that Rage and Warrior Path released great albums last year! Take Care!🤘

Lot's of great stuff in your ranking video. I haven't had too much time lately to listen to everything, I still would like to pick up that Todd La Torre, Running Wild and a few others you mentioned. Funny enough I did pick up Rage, Dream Theater and a few others you mentioned that you didn't get a chance to listen too, but that Mastodon is kinda meh to me. LA Guns sounds mega and I think you'd enjoy Powerwolf but maybe you should sample them as I think you might not be into the symphonic style metal. I hadn't heard of Evile before 2021 but I coincide with what you mentioned about their singer, the first albums are much better in that regard. But by far my favorite metal album of 2021 is KK's Priest!! I can't believe some people complain about the lyrics....just enjoy it for what it is right? Can't wait to check the mail Darcy! Great to see your picks for this year mate. Nearly fell off my seat seeing Asphyx so high and above maiden! Your dead right, these lists should be about the person and not to please others. I wouldn't even bother watching if you showed loads of albums I like. I came for the difference of opinion and to learn. Keep it heavy my friend 🤘🍻
