My 5'3" husband is absolutely the perfect man for my 5'2" self. Dating taller men tended to cause back and neck pain from continuously not being able to look them in the eye without leaning my head way back. Slow dancing was also problematic not to mention other "pursuits." I like walking side by side with the man of my dreams and being able to turn my head to stare into his eyes. It's been over 30 years and he can still make my heart flutter.

She was almost 30 and I was 27. She'd all, but, given up dating because she was tired of being asked out because she looked good on some guys arm. So ... I'm 5'9 and my husband is 5'8. I'm 6 ft tall in heels I have never had a problem dating men shorter than me. What I found was the men had a problem. My husband tells me put on some heels and let's go and other guys that I have dated that were my height or shorter were disturbed by it and their ego got involved. My husband just says he pretends he's with a supermodel. God I love that man.

It's sad this even has to be said, but I'm glad you did! I've known plenty of great shorter men, and the only ones among them that I didn't care for, are the ones who came with a chip on their shoulder which eventually clarified into "little man syndrome" . Society (and probably inborn characteristics we can't control; that protection we want) do negatively impact a shorter guys life, but only if he projects that he feels inferior or angry about it. A Double-edged sword, really, bc there is certainly bias there. But any man who's confident and projects that confidence is going to do just fine in the dating world, no matter his height.

Well I’m married and only 5’1” so I honestly never cared about height. It’s pretty easy to be taller than me lol

There was a small handful of guys my height or taller.
Most guys i dated were my height.

I am 5'38" and my husband is 5'48", is super strong and a brilliant provider. I never saw his hight as an issue, nor have I ever felt unprotected... I have no idea why this is even an issue...

I’m 6’1 and my husband is 5’7. Literally doesn’t matter at all. He’s the best husband in the world and more masculine than any man I’ve ever met. He’s my rock, protector, and provider. Anybody who cares about stupid things like height is setting themselves up for a miserable life.
