Thank you for posting this! I just bought a hydrangea this year and the flower petals are starting to turn brown at the edges. Now I know what to do.

If there are no leaves below, or they are dying, should I just go to a node somewhere down the stem?

I leave all the spent flowers on the plant over winter and cut them off in spring. I keep them aside to dry out as they are handy to start my fire pit

My plant has beautiful green leaves, is blooming around the bottom and sides with 8 blooms. What do I do with it?

Hi, I really enjoyed watching your video. I have several paniculatas and mopheads in my garden and this morning I went out to deadhead some of them but now I'm just a little confused as I've never deadheaded a hydrangea. So, when I make my cut to remove the flower head. The next set of leaves are really small so should I move to the next set that are larger? They don't have any new buds coming yet. I'm deadheading because I'm hoping to get another bloom before fall sets in., I live in British Columbia, Canada. Zone 8a. ~ Thanks so much for your video and I bookmarked and have subscribed to your channel - Your newest fan!!

How come all my old wood of endless summer hydrangeas never survived our winter ? I don’t have too many blooms on new wood too. Mine are 8-9 years old already . I’m in zone 5b. Any tips to get more blooms ? Thanks

Hello how do I know if I have an endless summer hydrangea. We bought our home with the hydrangea already in the yard so I have been trying to guess how to properly care for it. Is hydrangea arborescens L. - endless summer? (my plant app says that's what it is) Thanks in advance!
