State funeral held for deceased Tanzanian president John Pombe Magufuli

Nine heads of state including President Uhuru Kenyatta, two prime ministers and various heads of government joined Tanzanian citizens in mourning the death of Dr. John Pombe Magufuli in one of the events leading up to his final sendoff due Friday. The Jamhuri stadium in Dodoma was filled to capacity as the leaders celebrated the life of a man they termed a true pan-Africanist who fought to better the lives of those he served. President Samia Suluhu Hassan while thanking the leaders for taking time to mourn with them told off those questioning her leadership affirming that she was fully in charge.
