Orban is like the guy griping all day on the job site about his employer but is first in line to get that E/U Paycheck.

Orbán's activities extend way beyond Ukraine, he also helps sow instability in the Balkans and the Caucasus.

The Rotating Presidency is a formality. If Hungary doesn't play by the EU's rules, they get rightfully punished for it.

Hungry must be aware of all aspects of the belt and road initiative (huge losses and unfinished projects) especially after the flooding and costs of repair!

If the Hungarians want to live like Europeans then they have to behave like Europeans. Otherwise the will be sidelined.

Holding the presidency is poor wording for Orban's true job. He manages the Chair of the European Counsil of EU's prime ministers which means managing the agenda and leading the meetings. He is not a president of anybody. Not even in Hungary because Tamás Sulyok is the president with Orcban being the prime minister. His role in the European Counsil is that of a chairman which is on a 6 month rotation so not a president and is the wrong word for the function

Chairman not president guys ffs... 😄

I admire Orban for TRYING to discuss PEACE! Most leaders won't even consider stopping all the deaths and destruction. The EU is acting like a bossy toddler.

Why boycott the president of Hungary? His prime minister, Victor Orban, is the source of your concern.

I don't know if it is to Poland's credit or Hungary's discredit, but I can honestly say that Poland has lost its place on the top of the list of most fascist nations in the EU - pushed off by Orban, into second place. You guys still need to accept the rule of law, need to honour your international agreements and that democracy means powerful people doing what the voters tell them to do, but at least you're not Hungary.

I would at least suspend Hungary not kick her out. The problem is technical. If suspension is intacted, another country would have to step in. Normally and legally, it's the one next inline. The next Trio is unknown to me at this moment. Steve in Canada.
