El Capitan on the Unsupported '06 iMac, With OS X Patcher!

In todays video we have a look at running El Capitan on the iMac 5,2 (Late 2006 CD) with a tool called OS X Patcher! which patches the boot volume and adds kexts for the unsupported hardware. Graphics Support? You got it!

Works good, BUT: straight after installing, make sure you setup ZZ in settings and also turn off sleep mode. And NO UPDATES!! It will break your install ;-)

It worked on a Black MacBook (4, 1 early 2008). It runs smoothly and beautifully. Thanks man.
I just wanted for people to know that when you reach the post patching part, just type “patch” in terminal and it will find the file right away, saving you a lot of time.

Wow! It worked perfectly! I had to perform the patch step from the terminal several times since I could not boot, it restarted repeatedly, but now it works perfectly! Thanks Bro!

Great friend, my Macbook4, 1 early 2008 with Lion was upgrading using this tutorial “Works like a charm” mine have only 2Gb Ram, Mechanic HD but the speed is aceptable. THANK YOU MAN, It is Amazing.

Tried on macbook 2, 1, but does not work. Does go all the way to installer screen after booting from the usb drive, but after “about 16 minutes remaining” screen goes black and cd drive makes sound of ejecting cd and machine loads back into” install osx el capitan” screen. Any ideas how to solve this?

before i start with the steps i have some questions, i have a 2007 macbook with 10.7.5 MacOS and I have installed Ubuntu in it (gonna format it maybe).
Before I start with these steps, can I run Steam in it? also FL Studio? these are the importants for me!! Pls reply

if you're on 10.6, it wont work. you gotta upgrade to 10.7 first then use the tool.

14:27 - Unfortunatly when I was try to instal the OS the iMac chrashes and restarred to recovery mode whene I can start over and over the installation...All previous steps was go well. Has got the same iMac as seen in video with SSD 256 GB Lexar disk

when i boot the usb it loads the apple logo then a loading bar, then the screen goes grey with a mouse and that’s it

Tried doing this on my MacBook 2, 1 running OSX 10.7.5 and when I access the USB drive whilst holding option and it just stays on the Apple logo, not doing anything at all.

Well, I'm writing this for every person who had some problems with "Installer check support failed." error. The actual problem is you have to do this into Lion or newer OS X. (If you use Leopard or Snow Leopard, you can't pass installer support check.)
