Nvidia's founder, GPU king and current CEO, Jensen Huang, did not have an easy path to get where he is now. Born in Taiwan and having grown up in places all over the world you have to give it to Jensen for being both smart and tough.

With the Nvidia RTX 4090 and RTX 4080 GPUs releasing in the coming weeks lets take a look at the man who created Nvidia.

I always just thought he was a rich kid and was backed by his parents to get off the ground. I learned something!

Thanks, Giff, and may your new house be a joyful place for you and your family! Interesting, and dare I say a "classic American" story. His parents saw incredible adversity, moving several times to find a safe place to live. Even taking the risk of sending the kids ahead of them, what desperation that must have been. And then the immigrant child mistakenly sent to a last-chance school goes on to both engineer and found what became the leading GPU company in the world. A kid who's childhood homes were ruined by circumstances and violence becomes arguably the single greatest force in the world for the playing of games. Bless his heart for that. Yeah, I know, Nvidia do bad things, etc., but in the long run - ? I don't think there will be an Nvidia making desktop GPU's in 5-10 years. Once the Intel drivers solidify, Nvidia will be facing two powerful rivals that have a huge upper hand in coupling their CPU + GPU development. I think Nvidia is going to get slowly, maybe rapidly squeezed out of the consumer market. Hope I'm wrong. Jensen is certainly smarter than me to see this, but engineers can often fail to see the forest for the trees.

LOL Jensen was a nerd! A rich nerd. He worked for AMD. Wow and help start his own company, Nvidia and became the CEO of Nvidia. So somewhere in there he started to get really greedy! How humble is he now? Interesting start, great gpu's. AMD should kick themselves for letting him go!
