Government Increases Minimum Wage Rates For Workers

This revision marks the second wage adjustment for 2024, following the previous update in April. The government revises the VDA biannually, in April and October, based on fluctuations in the Consumer Price Index for industrial workers.

If minimum wage increases then how will regular income ppl combat inflation... generally everyones wages should increase otherwise can'tev3n afford to live in a apartment building because everthing else is increased watch man maid cost etc tgrn maintenance will shoot uphmm!!

This minimum wages act is not maimtained religiosly. If It would have been followed like PF, ESI people would be benefited

This random increases in minimum wages has become a stresser for the industries. They are not seeing how each industry is performing and are just randomly increasing amounts at the State and Central level. How are we supposed to survive? This random increase will increase cost of goods and services and strain the consumer even more. I sincerely hope they do a proper survey by industry and increase accordingly. That way those who need the increase will get it and where the situation is not that dire can get by with a smaller increase. When wages go up by 50% and electricity by 40% in two years, how are industries supposed to survive!!
