3. A Love Triangle where the main character ended up with the person you did NOT want them to end up with (warn ppl for spoilers) OR an OTP that you don't like.
4. A popular book Genre that you hardly reach for.
5. A popular or beloved character that you do not like.
6. A popular author that you can't seem to get into.
7. A popular book trope that you're tired of seeing. (examples "lost princess", corrupt ruler, love triangles, etc.)
8. A popular series that you have no interest in reading.
9. The saying goes "The book is always better than the movie", but what movie or T.V. show adaptation do you prefer more than the book?

I have never heard of anyokne who disliked Jace as well. I feel like he was annoyingly self-assured and I couldn't deal with his ego. I had to finish the whole TMI series to really notice it. Jace is probably my least favorite character ever.

I agree with you so much!!! I didn't like Looking for Alaska at all and everyone was like really into it and I didn't really understand all the fuss, I'm not really a fan of Cassandra Clare either but The Infernal Devices trilogy is really worth it if you want to try and read it again I don't think you'd be dessappointed but I think that woman isn't gonna write anything as good as those three books ever again!

I completely agree with you on Insurgent...I loved this book as well and I was so excited for the potential and where I thought the book series was going because I loved the first two....Allegiant is what killed the series for me

Ditto on Tris' character development in Insurgent! Tough but so important.

I'm the same on Cassandra Clare's books! I was reading them in high school & then kind of just... faded. Then lost interest entirely. Tried rereading book 1 and couldn't get into the writing style again, whoops. I don't know why they're constantly so hyped!

Thanks for being brave enough to say that you didn't like Jace's character! I've never heard someone say that and he definitely gets on my nerves sometimes. 😅

i still don't understand why harry HAD to end up with someone... that epilogue will forever scream profession fanfic fan-servicing to me.

Thank you so much for owning up to not loving Cassandra Clare. People are really intense about their love for her, and I hate her books. I did like Looking for Alaska, but I totally understand why other people don't. Absolutely agree with the Harry, Ron, Hermione thing. I was not satisfied with those at all.

Lol Jane Eyre is like the only novel from the Victorian era that I absolutely adore. It does read very slow, but I think that it's all worth it for the huge twist at the end. I agree with you on the Mortal Instruments trilogy. In fact, I couldn't even get through the first book without rolling my eyes. I refuse to read any of her other books, which is a shame because the covers look sooo pretty.

I've totally heard that about cassadra claire. I've never read any of them. I did love Insurgent! I wasn't super in love with Allegient because I felt it was either rushed or Veronica Roth told someone what her plan was and someone else wrote it. I felt like it had been 2 books instead of the one it would have been so much better. I think I'm going to have to do this video on my channel now!

It makes me so happy to hear a YouTuber say that didn’t like mortal instruments. Honestly I border line hated them. Did NOT like Jace at all nor his love interest. Overall was not a fan of the wiring or the story.

I totally agree with you about Jace (and also Cassandra Clare)!
I really think that girls who want a boyfriend like that are looki g for the wrong kind of boys
(maybe he gets better while the series continues. I wouldn't know; I was struggling to finish the first book), but he seemed really mean to me (I had another word in mind, but I don't wanna swear on the internet)

I absolutely love Jane Eyre but I can see where you are coming from. The first around 150 pages are quite boring and I felt like quitting but once I got into the book I could hardly put it down.

Agree about Looking for Alaska and especially the character of Alaska

Cassandra Clare and 50 Shades! I am happy to know I'm not the only one with this opinion. I kind of liked Infernal Devices trilogy ok but I couldn't make it through the Mortal Instruments series. And I have zero desire to read 50 shades.

I'm not a fan of the Divergent series, but the serum scene in Insurgent is one of my all time favorite book scenes. It's hilarious.

Finally someone else who didn't like Jane Eyre. Also I get where youre coming from with Cassie Clare. Not a huge TMI fan at all but I did enjoy her other series, and not for Jace at all

I had the same opinion about love, Simon. I was practically screaming while watching the Ferris wheel scene at the end.

I think my only ones would be that I loved The Cursed Child, whole everyone else hated it. My other would be Leigh Bardugo, I just can’t click with her writing at all.
