I’m Japanese and I’ve been living in Cairo for almost one year so far. The cultural differences between Japan and Egypt were so big that it took me months to get used to it. Now I’m proud of being able to manage to live here more than a year.

I lived in Egypt six years, married to Egyptian and converted to Islam. We live on our farm just outside Tor Sinai. This documentary gives me a helpful perspective. As a British born woman, mature in years it's been very hard to adjust to the chaos and dirt. BUT I have to say that the Egyptian people are beautiful. Its a very interesting and fascinating culture. Egyptians on the whole, are so poor and yet they always offer a warm welcome! ❤🇪🇬👏👏👏

I am an Egyptian citizen living in Giza
I really liked this video explaining life in Egypt
Everything you see that you do not like is because Cairo is a very old and very crowded city, and 10 percent of the Egyptian people live there. About 15 million live in Cairo, and most people inherited houses and apartments, so it is very difficult to change old private places.
But we have all the new cities. They are beautiful and quiet and you live in psychological comfort. Therefore, I advise the tourist who lives for a long time in Egypt to live in the new cities in Cairo and Giza. You will like it very much living there. I hope everyone will be happy to visit Egypt. You are welcome to Egypt any time. ❤

Cairo and Egypt are very famous in Indonesia because many Indonesian scholars graduated from universities in Cairo, but I was confused about why the behavior of the city residents was not clean.

No one denied that the majority of Egyptians live in harsh conditions, but u didn't have to be so disrespectful and negative like that bro, I'm Egyptian, what you captured is real 100% but I didn't like your attitude and undermining sense of sarcasm . To me it was disrespectful

When it comes to our insufferable traffic, there's a quiet saying that every Egyptian driver agrees with. If you can drive in Egypt, you can drive anywhere in the world. I know that especially, being a newer driver myself. Trying to cross any busy street in Egypt, is like sprinting across an active warzone.

This guy and Olga, went to the ugliest places in Cairo. There are much more beautiful places and not only Heliopolis, where they did not even show the real beautiful buildings and villas. What about Zamalek, Garden City, Maadi etc. The beautiful parks, the corniche etc.. etc.. this is the worst representation of Cario I have ever seen.

I'm Egyptian and your video is actually describing cairo as it is in reality, I'm pretty impressed, even me probably won't be able to show it as realistic as you did

I was there with UN Canadian peacekeeping forces in 74. Although the war was over taxi drivers and others continued to drive at night with their headlights painted over or they just briefly flipped them on/off when needed. It made for some wild rides. Found the people friendly.

This gives me flashbacks of when I went to India for 3 weeks.

India 🇮🇳 is exactly the same way as Egypt. 🇪🇬

Piles of trash everywhere, the foul smell on roads, the crazy traffic, the corruption, the dirty roads, the dusty streets, stray dogs, the wires hanging in neighborhoods, and overpopulation.
