People talk about how we havent seen two players like Messi and Ronaldo at the same time way above the Piero and Ronaldo in the mid 90s, we certainly did. That Juve side, the organisation, pressing in triangles, experience I think played a pivotal role in my club Manchester United winning the treble, learned so much from clashes n seasons before against Juventus. Even though he destroyed us at times, I couldnt help but admire Del Piero, shame he never seemed the same at international level when I saw him as for his club, one of the best and always came across so well and respectful in interviews too, genuine legend of 90s football

Del Piero until '98 one of the best striker and 10s of history. After '98 he was still a genius but with a slower pace. Today a player like him would have a 15 million month salary at least. For example, Ibrahimovic, known as one of the best strikers of today, is less talented and decisive than del piero, but bigger mouth and better marketing ahah
