Fishers Unveil Vehicle Livery to Support Tourism
Показать описание
At Fishers we don’t just think of ourselves as a laundry company. We believe that we are an important part of Scotland’s tourism sector too. Our iconic fleet of vehicles consists of 86 commercial vehicles that cover 4.2 million miles a year travelling throughout Scotland and the North of England. We recognised the role of our vehicles and the iconic role they play travelling in and out of our cities and towns and throughout the country.
In 2016 to celebrate the Year of Innovation, Architecture & Design, Fishers worked in partnership with Visit Scotland to identify and commission designs of some of Scotland’s most iconic landmarks. The new designs now adorn Fishers’ fleet of vehicles, demonstrating the company’s commitment to the hospitality and tourism sector in Scotland. The first design featured Glasgow’s Finnieston Crane, the Clyde Auditorium (known locally as the Armadillo) and the statue of the Duke of Wellington – complete with its famous traffic cone.
Other landmarks include: the Kelpies, Falkirk Wheel, Edinburgh Castle and the Forth Rail Bridge to name a few. We are proud of this partnership with Visit Scotland as it recognises our role as a partner for the tourism industry and our continued commitment to showcasing Scotland and what we have to offer as a destination.
