First swing of the 6" Minelab Equinox coil. Using it at an old school turned community center on my 'Nox 600. Got a little hasty and mixed up my search modes, but was very impressed with the performance of the little coil. Impressive depth!

I really like this coil ... especially for park hunting. It's very quick and has great separation.
Since it is so small I've been experimenting with the highest recovery setting (3). This seems to help with the separation as well. Very deep for its size. I now have all three coils and, honestly, most of my detecting time is with the 6-inch coil ... maybe when I get to the coast (beach hunting) I'll go with the 15- inch.

Always wrap the coil cord Over the shaft not underneath.

Would love to see a test that shows much depth you loose by going to the 6" coil..But should be awesome in trashy areas

Nice video, but you can ID iron better if you use all metal.

Looks like this will be a killer coil. Hopefully Minelab will bring out other coils like a 9" DD coil and maybe other companies will bring out a range of coils
