Funny. Out of all the jobs I have seen only maybe 1 percent care about certification. I am in tech, by the way. Certifications, like AWS certs won't help you get a job, they want experience.

That being said, having skills is good. I just won't pay for certifications though. You have to pay every year and keep taking the same classes over and over.
