When shopping for replacement turn LED turn signal bulbs you might have seen an option for switchback style, but what does that mean? Switchback LEDs have the ability to switch from white light to amber when you apply the turn signal, then back to white when you're finished. Not only do these look cool they are also brighter than your standard incandescent bulb. They are a great option for drivers wishing to give their vehicles a modern look. In this video, Chris will be reviewing many popular switchback options that are available for your vehicle.

I honestly don’t mind them blinking really fast. I think it actually makes drivers who are distracted, more aware that you are turning. Of course that being I don’t get any error codes or messages. Thats why I also have all strobe brake lights on my truck. You aren’t get as distracted when you see lights flash really quick. It makes you pay attention. You can also get anti- hyperflash LED’s if you spend a little more. To me its more about the quality of the light itself. I just replaced a bunch of blow. Fuses cause of these LED’s I tried installing. Fortunately it was just the fuses and not the relays. Easy fix.

Great overview. I've noticed some of these bulbs turn the white off until turnsignal is cancelled. Others alternate between amber and white. A follow-on video explaining Amber-Off vs Amber-White would be helpful, especially how to use them with DRLs, on vehicles that turn off DRL power when turnsignal is on and, using with external swtichback modules.

Your "we don't like junk" philosophy is pretty solid. Those Profile lights are pretty cool. They're very effective, and the wires seem to be robust.

What switchback led light bulb do you recommend for a 2014 Honda accord EX-L coupe sport I don’t like how the yellow color stays on during the day/ night time. Please I need help looking for the perfect one

I put aftermarket drl headlights in my truck and customized it so it had a switchback display. The drl on the top and bottom of the headlights blinks opposite from the amber bulb that's stock

Adjusting filament height on 4 seperate bulbs on my truck sounds exactly like what I never want to do on a weekend 😂

is this channel for trucks only, it seems so but I need a rear brake light that doubles as a turn signal 3157.

I have some Morimoto switchbacks on my 2012 Ford Fusion. The only thing I don’t like about these particular bulbs is the amber color isn’t as bright as I think it should be but it gets the job done. The white is pretty bright, close to my 5500k Morimoto HIDs

I bought the previous version of Lasfit bulbs for my 4Runner and the hyperflashed inmediatly so I installed resistors and now the work just fine. Now I see this 2023 version promising they could fix the mistake without the resistor needed, but I see they measure the time they do keep working as should before heating and presenting the error again. My question to you: Do you think that a resistor would keep my actual bulbs from getting heated better than taking them off and installing the new bulbs, or the new version of the bulbs T3 would protect better than the resistor?

What about the red and blue strobe leds with the controllers that were left in my headlights and tailights in my ex police F-150 truck that I bought.

When I installed my led switch back lights today they worked and the white light looks beautiful but when I turned on the turn signals it stays Amber sold color so I couldn’t use them
