i’ve found that I absolutely love love love the colours of those light dusty type inks like the Van Dieman’s one, but I just don’t enjoy them in writing. I’ll watch and swatch and yearn, but once it’s in a pen i’m like …🙁where’s the oomph?

Always love your choice of inks! My ink of the month is a green (also probably because of St. Patrick's day lol). I'm using Pilot Iroshizuku Shin-ryoku for my daily journal for the entire month of March 2025. But some days my entries look Christmas-y because there are some notes I write down with red ink 😂

I saw in someone’s video that the Twsbi grease is only for the piston and not what you used it for.
It’s a different consistency.

I was eyeing the journaler nib for a while now, thanks for the comparison! NahVALUR pens are gorgeous and affordable! But not a fan of a black nib, do you enjoy lighter inks with it?

I had the VD March inked up in a Nahvalur double broad as well and I had to swap it out! I just wasn’t enjoying it. Curious to see if you find a better pen/nib for it.

The Pompadour Pink... online it says green shading. I dont see that in your you sure thats the correct ink?
