Why FSU Football Will Continue to KILL The Miami Hurricanes

Mario Cristobal is not a good coach. He's a good recruiter. But he can't develop talent and he can't adjust on game days. We DIVE into three HUGE mistakes he made over the weekend against Mike Norvell, Jordan Travis, and the Seminoles.

The Noles beat the Canes 45-3 and fired up the Warchant afterward. But, that wasn't the worst of it. Mario Cristobal showed why his overall coaching record is very average as the Seminoles DOMINATED.

As a Oregon Duck fan who watched all of Mario’s games you nailed it. He a great recruiter but not a good game day coach and decision maker. His success at Oregon was not due to his coaching abilities. Miami needs a new head coach. A great offensive mind that can make the right decisions, develop players and demands discipline. Until they make a change 6 wins a year will be the norm.

Mario Cristobal looked like a lost used car salesman all night. There were receivers on our team that straight-up outpaced Miami defenders last night. That's all coaching and training there, and it's been a yearlong recurring trend down in Coral Gables. The fact that they are sticking with Gattis says to me they are forcing a new identity down the throats of a team reeling from two decades of failure. That is not a recipe for success, or even a degree of sustainability.

Mario is Gus Malzahn 2.0, both are flashy names well maybe not Gus anymore but they both had their attractions about them. The problem is Miami hired for fan fair, not for results. After an abysmal 10 years or so Miami needed a big hire to make the fan base and boosters think that the University took their concerns seriously. Mario has constantly done poorly as a head coach and his 66-65 W/L record shows that. He should have had insane success at Oregon given the PAC12 is a joke of a conference. He unfortunately is coming into a much stronger conference at the worst time possible. Here's the current situation in the ACC Pitt, WF, NCST, Clemson, UNC, and FSU are all getting better which will make their climb to prominence even harder.

If anything, you can thank the Seminoles for helping to evacuate S FL early before this Tropical Storm/Hurricane hits. 🤣

MC mindset is stuck in the Dark Ages, he is stuborn, puts his hands in to screwing the offense, and can not develope players at ALL. People fell for the tough guy talk and beating lesser teams by 3 pts or OT.

Liked how you put that spin in to protect your prospective if Mario continues to recruit well he'll probably win constantly in this rivalry 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

If “tell me you know nothing about football and how to build a program, without telling me” was a video lol

Saban taught Mario nothing? FSwho can’t recruit anyone & the best players are from Oregon & bench warmers. Do your homework you have no idea what your talking about. How many true freshman’s were on the field for Miami? Miami has had 18 injuries on just the offensive side of the ball. Norvell was crap the last 2 years 3-6 & 5-7. 4 losing seasons in a row.

Please keep exposing Mario, I also told my friends who are Sugarcane fans that he wasn't better than Norvell back when they said he was coming to the U garbage dump. He got he fame as a good recruiter from being on the Nick Saban coaching staff and with that being said anyone in the comments can recruit at Bama. The Sugarcanes are in for a rough ride in the coming years. FOREVER GO NOLES!!!!

Spot on sir isn't it funny how he up and left Oregon when Lincoln Riley was hired 🤔
Norvell has shown even while he was at Memphis that he could loose assistant coaches and keep winning. Thats the difference Mario needs elite assistants around him soo let's hope he keep the ones he have a couple more seasons lol..

You guys do realize Miami has a revolving door on the OL? The team is decimated with injuries. Also the Canes have a elite staff but the roster isnt elite. We dont have the right players. Most of them are holdovers from the Manny Diaz era, a HC who let the players get away with a lot. Miami could have Nick Saban and his elite staff but the result will be the same. Oregon just lost to UW. Last season Oregon lost twice to Utah in 3 weeks. The team was riddled with injuries, there were 2 distractions with OC Moorehead leaving for a Hc job and Mario leaving for Miami. As for Trey Benson leaving Oregon, he decided to leave because he was playing behind Jermaine Dye, their best skilled player at the time. Dye entered the portal and is now at USC. Oregon just lost to UW. Thats not on Mario. Mario cant Last season he beat the Buckeyes in the Horseshoe. Another diffculty with Oregon is getting recruits from out of state. Its Cali, Washington, Arizona, Utah or Hawaii. Mario has to live in and out of a suitcase for weeks, months, not able to see his family. He probably had to drive across state lines several times each season which is overtaxing. Same goes for getting on a plane. At Miami he has the fertile recruiting grounds of the state of Florida and Georgia has a wealth of talent also. After his introduction as Miami's new HC he visited a four HS in SoFL to secure commitments. The next day he got on a plane bound for Georgia to visit recruits. Not knocking Norvell but he has been at FSU for 3 + seasons while this Mario's inaugural season. He knows there is work to be done. BTW if Mario was a lousy coach, explain why he was at Bama as an asst under Saban, for 4 seasons. Also if mario is a lousy coach explain why wouldnt he have an elite staff?
OL coach Alex Mirabal, considered one of the best OL coaches, RB coach kevin Smith from Ole Miss, LB coach Charlie Strong, DC Kevin Steele, Safeties coach Jhalil Hood, who spent the previous 3 years at UGA. Corey Feld as S&C coach, considered one of the best. Also on the staff are defensive assistants former HOF DL Jason Taylor and Rodrigo Wright. Chief of Staff and HOF safety Ed Reed, and last but not least is Football Operations Manager Alonzo Highsmith who has extensive knowledge and background on overall Mangement of how a FB program is run. In 3 years Miami will be part of the conversation and maybe FSU as well. It wiil be like the late 80s to mid 90s.

I think we have underated talent..depth not so much

Miami fans keep saying they don’t have any talent. So, both Duke and Middle Tennessee St. have more talent than Miami? They were playing bad even before Van Dyke became injured. Cristobol is a good recruiter, but he’s not even an average coach.

The head coach is not the one who coaches the players. He delegates that power to position coaches. Mario will get the right coaches in and Miami will kick FSUs ass on a regular basis. Oregon Ducks fans are delusional.

What's yall record overall against miami? Ok then 🙌🙌

Mario had a winning record at Oregon.. won the the pac 12 twice and played for a 3rd.. walk into Ohio State and stomped them.. you're delusional.. and once he gets Miami back on track all of Florida is in trouble.. Florida State couldn't beat Oregon or Utah tomorrow.. nor Ohio state.. you're so happy you beat a injured depleted Miami team.. good for you enjoy it.. you're still ranked 25th.. and not that great of a team

TVD didn’t further injury himself smart one, there’s one side of our team that is under performed all year and it’s offensively, and just like Josh Pate and all the other coaches have said, it’s going to show that Gattis is a fraud. Yes of course our defense ended up giving up what we did to you guys but that’s because the office didn’t do anything in the game, If we have our OC from last year we lose to you guys and that’s probably it this year so far. And Mario’s record includes FIU and if you ever realize what he did FAU everybody praise him because he turned that program around and won a bowl game. We could all say the same thing about Norval his first year you guys haven’t had a winning season and how long, so for you to throw this out there about Mario just shows you’re a hater. Mario’s going to get a couple years and I promise you we’re in way better hands with Mario than you are with Norvell, because Norval will never get the talent needed to win championships Mario can if he gets his coordinators correct. We’re gonna end up with a top-five class and we have a losing record. I’ll give Mario a couple years to get it right

I wouldn't be surprised if half of Miami went into the transfer portal. We will gladly utilize the talent Miami squandered.
