Hey guys, thanks for watching as always and I'm so sorry to have been gone so long. expect more content very shortly!! I'm gonna be doing a lot of stuff with various chinese bikes and cheap bikes in general- per the channel.

I'll still be covering KPM and Lifan stuff, so keep watching for that as well.

if you feel so obliged, a like and a comment goes a long way for the algorithm and would mean a lot to me :)

Current owner of this wonderful bike! She's been down, we've both healed together, and she still rides sooo great. I had already been wanting a bigger bike and had her listed for sale when I went down and now don't think I'll ever part with her and will just have a second bike in the future. Echoing that she's a great learner bike, and a great city bike. Love this bike 💖 ✌🏻

The KPM is for the inner city commuter where the speed limit is 50-55mph at most. That is where it shines. While it can hit 70mph, its not its comfort zone of operation. As long as you know what to expect, it can be a great beginner bike.

Just hit 1000 on my KPR today, only problem I had was a baffle in an aftermarket exhaust coming out. Bike is super fun and it feels like you’re riding on air tbh because it’s so light and it can be thrown into corners. Also did an hour highway ride and it wasn’t bad, tucking up in behind the screen helps with the wind a lot and gives another mph or 2. Love to see you grab a KPR I’m keeping mine probably forever as a commuter because of the gas mileage

Thank you so much for your thoughts and feedback on the KPM 200. It has been very helpful. I will be getting mine very soon.

The Lifan KPM200 looks like a great bike. I wish they made it with a larger engine.

Your review was really good. I also weigh 240lbs so you definitely put it into perspective on how fast it would go.

My normal everyday rider is a Harley touring bike, but smaller nimble bikes are fun to whip around and carve up the road.

Thank you for your honest input. I've been doing a lot of research on this bike glad I came across your video because I was more working on a highway bike to go from town to town. Not sure if this would be powerful enough and Im not trying to waste my money lol 💯

What you're talking about power is exactly why I chose a Ninja 400 instead of a 600 or 650. Even on the N400, I find myself constantly being at 60MPH in 35 zones, because 60MPH seems like the speed the bike is most comfortable hovering at.

Most of my commute is in the city. For me, something with 70HP+ would just be overkill. I've found that the 400 is plenty fast up to 80MPH, and can easily reach 100 from there. For regular highway riding (responsible highway riding), the 400 or something like a Yamaha R3 is about the most I'd need.

Good stuff as always, it blows my mind that I stumbled across your channel just looking for Lifan content and we happen to be from the same county and we live in the same city now, I doubt I'll unsubscribe anytime soon, especially since I look forward to the vids you seem to have lined up

I sold mine for the same exact reason. I work about 26 miles away from where I live and the speed limit was at the peak of what the bike could put out. I actually bought your exhaust and did some other mods to help, but it just wasn’t enough. It was a great bike, just didn’t work for what I needed it for. Next is probably gonna be a Suzuki SV 650

Bought a KPM 200 and ended up with the exact same thought. I love everything about the bike, I just wish it had more guts at highway speeds. 25 HP and lower RPM at 75.. We'll see what the V4 does.

I almost went with the kpm or a grom (or clone) when I was shopping for my first bike. I ended up going with the raven 250 dual sport instead. I love it after a performance spark plug upgrade and a 42t sprocket in the rear. She can hit 75mph on Google maps, and cruises beautifully at 60mph to work, 12mi each way (about 2/3 highway). I still can't believe how much more performance she gets after switching to an iridium spark plug. Anyone running a Chinese bike should spend the 12$, you will be amazed at how much difference you'll feel with a better plug. (Immediate 4mph top end increase, just due to the consistent spark at higher rpm 💪🤙)

Oh darn, sorry to see the KPM go. It’s funny, I was searching for vids on it the other day and was wondering why you hadn’t posted a vid on it for a while.

I’ve seen in fb groups about sprocket changes and their respective owners posting vids of 80-85mph+ Red lining of course or close as can be; did you ever consider the same?

Safe ridin’! 👊

How do you feel it would hold up a 35 miles a day commute? Round trip. Also I'm totally cool with staying on the service roads.

The person who buys the KPM200 should NOT be comparing to a Rebel 300. As you state, the right buyer should be considering the Grom, CT125, or Monkey. For mature riders, it makes a great commuter, scrambler (with 80/20 tires), or for LIGHT touring on side roads. MotorBikePacking is for riders who want to ride small bikes and merge the lightweight efficiency of bikepacking!

I recently order this bike from Orion Powersports online. When it arrived it was immediately giving a check engine light flash indicator related to the oxygen sensor. The battle that I'm having now is getting parts to do the repair myself. The downside is the distributor will only send parts to an authorized dealer, and the closes one to me is 98 miles. It's a fun bike to ride, but if parts start going bad, you may find yourself between a rock and a hard play like me.

What about for a smaller rider? I weigh 140lbs and the hwy limit is 65mph, would you recommend it?
