tesla transformer relies on LC resonance and here there is no resonance because neither the first nor the second coil has capacitors so it is an ordinary transformer without a core, i.e. usually two air coils and that's it lol

That's not a Tesla coil, for it, it only has 1 output and it gets grounded through capacitive coupling, that's more like a high voltage transformer (in hindsight a Tesla coil is s transformers, but a very special one)
Usually Tesla coils resonate at very high frequencies, and you need to match them to make it resonate, try something like the slayer exciter

great project to partially short out a lipo batter. the real end result is a battery fire you can't put out and your house/garage burns down.

The video should be titled "How to make a nothing coil". The cheap tazer module is the only thing doing anything. At least he used the right battery voltage to power it tho.
