Aveeno Lotion vs. Nivea Lotion | Which One Won?

ISO a great lotion, I conducted an experiment with Aveeno Active Naturals Lotion and Nivea Essentially Enriched Body Lotion. For a week, I used the Aveeno on the right side of my body and the Nivea on the left side of my body. Watch the video for my conclusion.

Most aveeno lotions have petrolatum which I think is what gives skin that coated feeling. Aveeno sheer is the only one I've seen without that ingredient. That one is weightless, soaks in quickly and leaves a silky finish. Not sure how moisturizing it is for dry skin, but mine is "normal" and I've had great success pairing it with Dove exfoliating body wash for soft healthy looking skin 🙂. You mentioned that lotions don't moisturize as well as they used to for you. It might be because as we age our skin cells take longer to regenerate, so maybe a physical scrub or a lotion with exfoliating ingredients like urea, lactic acid or salicylic acid a few times a week could help your skin absorb that moisture better? I have extremely dry skin. I have to use a specialty facial moisturizer. With that said, the only body lotion I use that I swear by is the Vasoline Intensive Care. Comes it a yellow bottle and man, it smells amazing!

Cerave seems what most dermatologist recommend and which I like a lot too. You can even put on your face. It costs more but you do get what you for … better quality.

I'm going to try the Nivea and buy the exact same bottle you bought in the video to test for myself.

Edit 1: The label has changed.
Edit 2:. This feels better then the Aveeno, I might switch to the Nivea because I can actually feel the moisture on my skin.

Vasaline Intensive Care lotion in the yellow bottle is my absolute favorite! I have tried literally everything! That stuff is incredible and smells clean and yummy! I will never purchase another lotion again! Definitely try it.✌🏼

I ordered Aveeno earlier because although I love the SVR Moisturiser I use it's nearly $20 for 2 weeks worth in UK. Then I read an article saying Nivea is good so I cancelled the Aveeno for the Nivea. Now I'm about to cancel the Nivea too! What is a girl to do?! 😢❤

I have very dry skin and just bought that essentially enriched nivea (the small size just to try it out) and it doesnt work....
Its like my skin is so parched it just absorbs the lotion and go back to being dry after application TvT
Im looking at V.coconut oil...to see if itll work.

Do you get bothered by any smell from the aveeno bottle with the shea butter? I noticed an odd smell at first that seems to go away within 10 minutes each time I put it on, but I’m concerned I might’ve just gotten used to it but the smell maybe still lingers. Partially because I like to apply moisturizer to my neck before applying cologne, but worry that the odd smell of this lotion might affect the cologne negatively

My skin never used to be that sensitive either until I got my mid to late 20s I'm 30 now and have to be extremely careful what I use.

Well being a guy perhaps is the reason my results were different. I totally shave my ENTIRE body from top to bottom including my penis and sounding area clean. After a few months of my using this Nivea body location with almond oil my skin is incredibly!!! Soft and smooth and looks great. I recommend this to all guys to try this especially if you totally shave your body. 😊

Hello I have a question for you so I have Nivea soft face body hands lotion and aveeno daily moisturizer lotion I moisturize my legs after shaving and moisturize my body on a daily basis I use 2 seperate lotions 1 for each job which lotion would be better for which job in other words would Nivea soft do a better job of moisturizing my legs after shaving or my body on a daily basis same question with aveeno please get back to me on my question

I strongly recommend cerave daily moisturizing lotion, it’s very lightweight and melts into the skin. Or you could try the moisturizing cream. They are great for very sensitive skin, really any skin condition it plays well with. Cetaphil is another brand that is good.

try using amlactin every night if you're using sunscreen now a days!! :) it's extremely effective
