Dev (Akshaye Khanna), a police officer, is investigating a double murder case that has only two witnesses, who are also the prime suspects. The suspects - Vikram (Sidharth Malhotra), an acclaimed writer, and Maya (Sonakshi Sinha), a young homemaker, have different narratives about the events of that fateful night. Both the stories seem true but there can be only one truth. Dev is torn between the two versions of the story, and will not settle till he finds out what happened that night.

The film releases in cinemas on 3rd November, 2017.

I just watched the movie..I was impressed with Sid's performance..he was great..switching between roles he does SOTY, hasee toh phase, Ek Villain, brothers, baar baar deko, a gentleman nd nw ittefak..he rlly can do everything nd find a different way to do everything according to the character. I'm so proud of him, he's doing great..Akshay Khanna was so hmm elegant. He added a perfect presence in that film..the most thing I liked abt this movie is that it doesn't have a typical stupid out of mind ending..thank u for not being typical, Sir director
