I have two main things I want to point out here.
1. To my knowledge, there is no actual proof a6d has groomed minors to my knowledge. The fact that it has been alleged is something, but most every popular youtuber has been accused of grooming minors. We don't see people getting mad at people for being friends with dream yet he has been accused of grooming. The reason it is not bad is because it lacks proof which makes it essentially useless. If it is true, then that's terrible, but there isn't any proof it is.

2. The whole scamming thing he brought up in the thread is just lies. I assume this video brought it up because it was also brought up in SunnyV2's video. The original poster of that comment did end up getting paid and made a statement about SunnyV2's video about Skeppy which I'll leave here.

"You may have seen the post on the latest skeppy video, literally over 2 years ago, I won a skeppy event, but it took a month for me to receive the prize money. I had the right to be concerned about what happened, however I never confirmed I got scammed, but explained I was pretty worried that I hadn’t received anything yet, or even worse, my favorite creator scammed me. The way Sunny manipulated my post to make it seem 100% skeppy scammed me and used it to try and turn people against skeppy is so dumb. If skeppy is reading this, this is what I have to say.

Hey skeppy, I’m “ZacsAlt” from the invaded lands post. While it did take almost a month for me to get the prize, the way this guy twisted my post about me being concerned about my prize is literally so dumb. I understand i titled the post “I got scammed..?” But I was a HUGE FAN, and was genuinely worried that something wrong had happened, or even worse, my favorite creator had just scammed me. Nowhere did I confirm I got scammed, I was just wondering why it was taking so long, and if there was an accident when sending me the money. Soon enough, I got it, and thought nothing about the post. I am truly sorry for making you have to look through loads of recordings to find proof of sending me the money, all because this guy decided to google “skeppy hasn’t payed me” or something. I really hope this clears things up, and it’s just ridiculous this guy pulled up a small thread from years ago that kid me posted and somehow made it seem you %100 scammed me. I’m super sorry for the confusion, and if I knew better I would have edited the post and cleared everything up. No doubt this caused a lot of stress and I’m very disappointed as how sunny manipulated my post from years back"

Skeppy events/invadedlands player here. Skeppy at least in the past year has not scammed ANY events winner out of a prize. Well, I get this is a documentary channel and their job is to cover things for content, but there's some misinformation in this video. For 1, Invadedlands was the very first video, it wasnt created later in his career. 11:40
Skeppy does not fake videos anymore. All the events/trolls are real, at LEAST any recently.
A "downfall" of a youtuber that has been around for years is normal, and I pretty much expect to see Skeppy's channel start growing more rapidly again especially even if he "used to " fake content and now it's real.

Kinda hate how when a video essay channel hears something that's supposed they assume it means 100% he got zero proof of Skeppy scaming somebody and Skeppy gave proof he didn't but despite that you still paint a picture of Skeppy being some sort of villain. And him no longer posting every day is by no means a bad thing it took a toll on his mental and physical state the only reason any body could say that him posting once every week or so is so much worse is because the only wanted his content and in no way care about the creator making it in the first place. I do know this is a bit of a rant and it may seem unnecessary, but if no-one bothers to make comments like these then all video essays will be soulless, hate mongering and, to be frank a stain on the community. While I do think that Skeppy staging his videos is untruthful I'd rather have him upload a staged video than for his career to die out for no good reason. And him saying a6d is his friend after the ALLEGED (key word there) grooming is disturbing but if a6d and Skeppy were as close as it seemed I could see where he was coming from. it would be hard to take somebody you care about and have for years and just dump them out like nothing. If by chance you read this Lando I don't think you are a bad YouTuber or that you should stop doing this ( especially if this is your passion) I just think its scummy and wrong to document something so poorly and then call it good enough. But its not my channel and its not my video. Wish you best of luck man.


TL:DR I dislike how video essays tend to sweep facts under the rug and leave out key details such as the difference between allegations and truth. No hate just criticism.
