OMG, the fascia looks horrible. Why don't they fit a similar grill like Astor?

The previous version with the front grille looks more appealing. Without front grille, it looks plain and boring.. mg kept the charging port at front, which affected the looks even more with the cutout for it.. Provide some sort of fake grille that doesn't affect aerodynamics

Very insightful video. I must say that ZS EV is the best option in the segmen. I'm also planning to switch to EV now.

Why do EVs have to look so oversimplified in design. The previous gen ZS EV looks so much better, had a character and flare in it's design, it's all gone with this iteration.

ZS EV is really amazing with the features and looks, it's a worth-buying car. Btw great review.

Disagree with the last point, now is NOT the right time to get an EV for most people. 1-2 years from now, we'll have plenty of options at a competitive prices!

As a nexon EV driver who doesn’t venture out of the city with the EV
Trust me the 210-220km of real world range on the nexon is very good for the city, there is no point shelling out an extra 8-9L for a MG

If you just remain in the city, the only advantage the MG has over the nexon is that you will probably plug it in less frequently- that’s about it 😅😂

Mg has to compete against the new tata batch, and upcoming suzuki batches with price, value and range . And that too with skateboard frames giving more range etc. It seemed ok at best

The point mentioned under charging is true. There is just one charging gun in most of the charging station and that is a bummer. There needs to be more guns in each charging station.

Long trips are doable but with lot of planning.

Kona removed the grill pattern from the front and now new model looks much better...MG added them and looks worse than previous model 🥲

Excellent review. The comparison with kona helps people understand how much the MG ZS EV was lacking in terms of being a pure EV

The portable charger provided should have higher power with shorter charging time on regular home adapter

About that "Worrying" part to plan and find charging stations- Most EV users really enjoy driving their vehicle to the limit(of their range) and continuously push as to how far they can go literally and figuratively. That's part of the fun and thrill. While they are at it, the chances of getting stalled is very low, the worst case scenario is one might have to drive really slow during their last leg of the trip. Maybe a downer for people with anxiety issue, but most people get the fun aspect out of it once they are used to. So, it may sound counter intuitive but once you own an EV, you will drive/ride more than you would on an ICE. That's not just my opinion(though holds completely true for myself as well) but several studies have shown that.

.Vw india plans to have solid state battry insted of Li - ion..which is more cost effective..Plus there are other bttr options (graphene, flouride, ammonium nd Li sulphr batteries ) .Other companies should also look forward towards that

I say nice explanation. But it's more focused about convenience which we are already aware of.. We interested more about driveability how it perform in a straight line how it react to acceleration.. How quick with peddle like 0 to 100... It would be great.. ❤
