For anyone wondering, that’s an actual cop from a legit sheriff’s office.

This track is 20 mins from me lol. The Colorado State Patrol (CSP) will sponsor test & tune events to “provide a positive alternative to illegal street racing” on a controlled drag strip. The drag strip is called Bandimere speedway, and it’s in Jefferson County, Colorado. That’s a Jeffco Sheriff racing the GTR.

Not sure if it’s a separate event that police actually race and not just sponsor it, but regardless that’s a legit cop.

In case anyone was wondering. The sheriff is likely there as a friend and never intended to do an actual run. It was a joke and I doubt he’s allowed to risk a state vehicle like this.

Also more importantly, those suvs are 3.0 ecoboosts pushing 400 hp. They’re fast as hell, just like the interceptors
