I’m 65 years old with a 6 pack!! I’m usually between 15%-17% body fat, but I train my abs 3 times a week (minimum).

lighting also plays a major factor too. if its too bright no shadows will form on your abs and its hard to see, but step back 5 steps from the mirror lights and suddenly everyone looks like zeus.

I agree. Not training the abs because influencers said that it'll automatically appear if we reach certain number of body fat.
But I'm not cutting because I feel that I still need mass on my body.

Since I started train my abs, it slowly appearing even though I still have approximately the same fat percentage.

I appreciate you for setting realistic and reasonable expectations for different fitness goals. Your video on rucking got me into doing it as part of my workday walks and weekend challenges.

I used to despair that my muscles weren’t growing massive like the dudes at the gym, but then I found out the amount of time, training, and dietary augmentation (protein powder, creatine, etc) and it doesn’t fit with my goals. My goal was to get as strong as I can naturally, in a way that is sustainable for the long term as I get older. I missed the boat for my growing years (teens to late twenties), but perhaps it was for the best. I’m happy where I am, as I am, and my progress. Hope whoever reading this meets their goals, whether it’s becoming a young muscle god or a fit dad.
