Need For Speed Trailer Evolution (1994-2022)

NFS Unbound Trailer dropped, its unique and some aspects look familiar in new style. I like the way it looks, seems like a good follow up after what NFS Heat did great, and looking forward to this one.

Amazing how the 19 y.o. trailer for underground gave me goosebumps. The setting, the vibe everything just fits right for the streetracing scene from this era

I think the best NFS trailer yet is the 2010 Hot pursuit, and the part that gives me the goosebumps is when the Reventon arrives, and you hear Edge of the Earth at the same time.

Hot Pursuit 2010's trailer is unironically one of the greatest video game trailers ever made.

Rivals still has the best gameplay out of any NFS to this day. Building heat by competing in races and having that be multiplied by the more races/events you do (or the more cops you evade), and the higher the heat you have the more cops try and bring you down, and when the cops get on you too hard its always a race to the death to get to the safehouse before they destroy your car so you can deposit all your heat. And that heat was the one currency you had to purchase cars, upgrades, paint jobs. It was just perfect. Throw in some very cleverly designed weapons, an amazing soundtrack, and graphics that still hold really really well even 9 years later- and you have my personal favorite NFS. I would love for the franchise to make a sequel. It would be the best selling NFS game ever.

NFS High Stakes was my first racing game. My uncle bought it for me for Christmas in either 1999 or 2000. Anyways, I remember as a 7 year old watching the opening EVERY TIME. I thought it was the coolest thing I’ve ever seen.

Thanks for the awesome wave of nostalgia. NFS Hot Pursuit 2 is my second favourite opener.

Best ones are definitely Hot Pursuit 2, Underground and Hot Pursuit 2010, I get goosebumps every time I see them! In terms of the games themselves, Black Box was the golden era of NFS, with Criterion holding a close second place for me.

NFS 2015's Trailer with Gangster's Paradise is still my favourite, wasn't featured here but hands down one of my top few favourite game trailers.

I like how they went from making fun of the Tuner Cars (High Stakes) to literally building their entire franchise on that aspect of the Car Culture since past 2 decades almost.

Just imagine in real life driving a Bugatti Chiron SS 300+ with almost hitting 300mph and then there's Ford Crown Victoria gapping you.

This is absolutely epic!! I had my first pc at 1998 and I remember to have NFS II as my first ever racing game. I remember playing with my dad the complete tournament and knockout competitions in splited screen both playing with the keyboard. I played every game of the series until NFS carbon, then I lost interest on arcade racing games and moved to simularors. This was a huge part of my childhood.

The music in nfs 2 introduced me to heavy riffs and hard rock and industrial music as a child the soundtrack was ahead of its time for a racing game at the time same with nfs 3

Man NFS MW (Criterion)...I remember playing it on X360 every night, and let's not talk about Underground 2, I used to go the the hills and watch the city landscape or losing my cars in Most Wanted because my nephew always got caught by the police and NFS 2015, that game looked awesome on XOne and the girls in the movies looked cute haha

Underground changed the game though. Everyone wanted tuners. Gave each car in that game its legacy today

Hot Pursuit 2010 definitely tops all of them. 100% perfect, starting with some GT500 chasing down a CCX to a Reventon, an MP4-12C and a Veyron chasing down an entire fleet of Exotics.
