Our Kindergarten Homeschool Routine

This vlog was originally just one long account of my thoughts, little bit of the routine and recommended material for Kindergarten students. But it turned out to be too long that I decided to cut it in three parts. So in this one, I show you our routine (Philip is Level Kindergarten) which begins at around 2:00PM and ends at around somewhere between 5:00PM - 6:00PM daily. Ideally, we go through all subjects in a day but I adjust according to his pace and season, too. (He can be quite fast with English and Language, and a bit challenged with Filipino.) That’s one advantage of homeschooling — it can be so personal and customizable! Anyway, I left notes in the video and I promise to make a new and more detailed one when we get back home from America and resume with SY 20-21! Enjoy!!! 🕊🍋🤍

Hi Pre-school teacher here!
Ms. Rica is a great educator. And also I agree with the way she chooses the learning environment, it really affects their learning.

And also to parents out there don't force your children to have perfect penmanship yet. And educate them to LOVE reading, I always tell my kindergarten pupils to LOVE reading. Instead of letting them play mobile games READ them a story. This will develop their LISTENING COMPREHENSION.

I'm a MALE PRE SCHOOL TEEACHER BTW😍

and I enjoy every single DAY of it! 🥰

I like this set up. Dining, Kitchen, classroom in one place .. I'm working from home so this fits me talaga. While doing something on my PC, I can see what they are doing. This week, I have to set up na for the first day of school. Love your vlog Ms. Rica!

Yes nmn ms Rica homeschooling is almost similar to montessori, kids have freedom when to learn and what to learn in certain time and in their own pace, unlike in traditional school settings na you have to keep up with the group and ang dami g bawal, but not all people can afford to do homeschooling, some parents have to go to work and all. I do homeschool my kids too, just graduated 1st grade, just thankful that we have the luxury to stay home and teach our own kids. I guess my question to you is, how do you deal with social development of your son?

It's so ironic that my US born kids who speaks English as their first language are getting taught by an online teacher from Pinas😂. It's so hard to keep them speaking tagalog only.
In my personal opinion, I disagree with filipino born kids to use english as their first language like Jose Rizal said.
