I can understand not being comfortable doing the scene. However, it did make sense to include this part in the film and didn’t feel like it was added just to be controversial. It’s the progression of a relationship but also how he’s grooming her for sex

The song stuck in my head more than the whole scene

Ok regardless of how traumatising - or in this case "formative" - the experience has turned out to be for Witherspoon: When a rather intimate scene isn't even in the script, requested on set by the director (without a heads-up before) and the young actress gets denied a stunt double, it's a sneaky, unprofessional and unnecessary way of handling things as a director!

Reese is good in any movie genre. Whether its horror, action, romcom, even animated. I admire her since MVA, I also watched Legally Blonde a many times now. Few months ago, I just watched Fear and it was a great film ❤ Looking forward for Morning Wars S3.

That scene imprinted on me as a young teen

I’m glad she was not traumatized by the scene and she’s done a great job at becoming an agent for change. I guess I’m surprised that would have been the only scene she took issue with considering the movie as a whole.

I can understand why the scene was added to the movie, teens do racy stupid things. Being surprised by it last minute and being pushed to do it I can fully understand why it was an uncomfortable scene. I am happy she grew up not victimized by it but became an advocate for what she believes in.

Her BREAKOUT role was “Man in the moon”.

She was really young in that movie… I’m not surprised she was uncomfortable

Also it showed how his character was testing her boundaries a little more each time.

I remember watching that scene when I was young and I didn’t understand what was going on just that she looked like she was enjoying the rollercoaster. I would make her faces on rollercoasters because of that. Embarrassing when I watched that as an adult and realized why she made those faces.

That’s so disgusting that’s they denied her a stunt double. There’s absolutely no reason for that. Pervert director honestly.

I really loved this whole movie, I’m sorry she felt like that but it fit perfectly and it turned out to be a fantastic movie

The scene is quite mild. You barely see anything. Is more her expressions and Mark's face.

Honestly, it was the most interesting scene in the movie… the rollercoaster fantasy with Wild Horses soundtrack playing in the back, Amazing scene!!! 🙌
