Meet 100 Thieves newest Content Creator, Kyedae! In this episode of Unwrapped, we journey into Kyedae’s story and learn how she became a part of 100 Thieves. Kyedae grew up in both Canada and Japan, always living an active and outdoorsy lifestyle. She grew up playing sports like basketball, and even learned to sail with her Dad. Upon meeting Tyson “TenZ” in high school, Kyedae’s interest in gaming expanded as their relationship bloomed. At first Kyedae was hesitant to be on camera or involved with TenZ’s streaming. Halloween 2019, that changed. Kyedae decided to join Tyson on stream and had a great time! From that day forward, Kyedae’s career in content creation began. Alongside streaming Kyedae was studying to be in the medical field. One day, Kyedae received an email from 100 Thieves, asking if she would be interested in joining the team. She excitedly agreed. Throughout Kyedae’s interview she recounts the difficult moments in her career. Dealing directly with sexism and toxicity, Kyedae believes in the power of speaking up. She encourages women to stand up and demand respect in and out of the game. Kyedae aims to be a voice for those who are underrepresented in the gaming space. Watch now to hear her full story!
