I actually added another step to this. After I added my first round of snow into the slime, then I put it in a cup and let it sit for a night. The next morning, it was much easier to stretch and I was able to add more snow without it getting sticky. Thank you for this Courtney!

The purple (as well as blue or pink) food coloring is very sensitive to light and fades out to either blue (then to white) or pink/blue to white. Natural food colors will also fade faster than synthetics. @9:20
