Born and raised in Bangkok, Archawat is a descendant of Karen people, a hill tribe hailing from the mountainous Thai province of Kanchanaburi. At the age of 18, Archawat left home for the United States and spent nearly a decade there where he received degrees in Business Economics and Public Policy from The George Washington University, and the American University. From 1997 – 2015, Archawat lived and worked in Washington DC, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and Bangkok. Professionally, Archawat is leading a team of Public Affairs and Communications professionals across South East Asia
