Culvert Repair Hack Saves Thousands - How Counties & DOT's Slash Maintenance Budgets!

An 84" culvert pipe was rusting extensively along the bottom 1 foot invert of the pipe, the rest of culvert still in great condition. Typically this would be a remove and replace but county looking for ways to extend maintenance dollars. They filled in with grout all holes to provide a smooth flow line. The second step was to unroll concrete canvas and anchored to good portions of the pipe for a new flow line and extended culvert life. Entire process took roughly 2 days from start/finish.
