Hey Marie! You are incredible. I started my venture a year ago, and tried a lot of different approaches to test my product and ways to sell it in the past year. I've gotten soooo much from all your free content, it's so nice of you to give so much TRULY useful (and entertaining) content for free. Others don't they flat out just ask for your money.

Patience is something that has been helping me a lot, I find that this path requires so much patience and starting over a lot sometimes.
I feel like patience has been built into me at this moment.

The second principle, has opened a door to some creativity that feels like the right way to go... and it is definitely not for everyone but like you said it'll attract the right client and ultimately that's what I hope to attract soon.

I know this video is a few years old but I'm just watching it for the first time.

I love these little bite sized peices of advice. They seem simple but when you really think about them in the context of your own specific struggles they make so much sense. For me, having patience has been a struggle... I have BIG goals for my business... And often get discouraged that "I'm not there yet" and I have an internal narrative that keeps saying things like "you will be successful when...." I loved this advice because it reminded me not to focus on the gap between me and my goals... But to use that energy to deliver big on the small scale I'm at right now... And do it with integrity ;)

This is why I love you Marie... You really know how to deliver that "well Duh!" kind of advice in a way that really sinks in... 🌈🦄 !

I founded a Cultural Empowerment Enterprise and some of my peers have expressed concern over the fact that not everyone is targeted in our Marketing etc, I have repeatedly explained' " Everything isn't for everyone!" So true, Marie. Especially building a channel on YouTube...it takes time. 😀 Patience and consistency is key. Respect the hustle. Respect the process. I also like when you said not everyone will like your product. You can’t be right for everyone. That’s why you should start out very niche focused. I’m learning that in respect to starting my channel. It’s hard to start out with a specific content focus but you can branch out from there. Great vid!

Thanks for great advice! I definitely need to work on all three, but patience is the word of the day. It's easy to get discouraged on particular difficult days... but thinking of the long term keeps me going. It's funny how the next day, suddenly, things are looking up. Our emotions are a fickle thing!

Patience would be the most needed...i honestly started B-School a couple of years ago and i let life and impatience get in the way. The teaching was beautiful, but this student wasn't ready even though you showed up, i wasn't patient with myself or the steps i needed before i started the long dedicated process. But i haven't lost, i have had time to find much needed clarity by doing research (and healing from unresolved issues/blocks) and confessing what i really want - i can get back on the B-🚂 thanks to the lifelong membership - so i just want to say thank you so very very much and i look forward to every tuesday and for the chance to let my creativity bloom through the program 😘 Marie Forleo Team

1) It’s about the long game. Work your tail off to make your product effing outstanding.
2) Be boldly not for everyone. (Sales prevention.) Not every product is right for everyone.
3) Always over-deliver. (I.e., B-school: gives lifetime access; provides a team of mentor coaches; gives customers truly heroic customer support)
