I can't help but respect Pistachio's dad. The guy defended his son when he felt bad about acting inappropriately but instead of criticizing him, he supported him.

This might be the worst movie scene of all-time. We see his father (played by James Brolin) kicks Robert Machray and Rachel Lederman out of the restaurant. As Fabrizio turned away, Robert Machray will say, "No, I am not leaving until I get my food." And that includes the final scene where Rex (played by Jay Johnston) shoves Pistachio's face so violently at the 3:41 minute mark. And yes, Sophia (played by Maria Canals Barrera) didn't see it because she doesn't care what Rex is doing or simply it was none of her business as they were leaving the scene.
