College football coach Mike Leach died at the age of 61 after complications from a heart condition. To put the two-time national coach of the year’s impact on the game of football into words isn’t easy. His personality on and off the field made it easy for college football fans, and even people who don’t watch sports, to have a good laugh and maybe even learn something along the way. His candid soundbites from his multi-decade career almost always went viral.

It seems just about everyone who has crossed paths with Leach has a story to tell about him, and will remember his impact on the sport for years to come.

we've lost a great man at a wrong time. Everyone loved this man. I wish he had coached at my school.

National Treasure. He was my favorite person earth for years…then he became the coach of my Bulldogs and I felt like I hit the lottery. Really going to miss him. Felt like we had 10 more years with him. 😭

I'm definitely not a MSU fan by anyway. Growing up in Baton Rouge, I grew up a LSU fan and with that, I have learned to swallow my pride.
Mike Leach was one hell of a coach for Miss. State. I am so sorry for the family, friends and players that lost apart of themselves. Prayers are with you all.

I'm a Bama fan... don't hold that against me... Leach was a football coach that had "dry humor", but he was a wise and humorous coach, I followed him from Texas Tech, Washington, and then Mississippi State. He is a college football treasure, that will SURELY BE MISSED!!
🙏🙏Prayers to his family, friends, and all of his players! God Bless You, Coach Leach, YOU Will Be Missed!!🙏🙏

Hot dogs simply are not food. Last I tried, my cat wouldn't touch them and they didn't mold at room temperature.

Former Chicagoan of 52 years here - Chicago hot dogs feature (at least) yellow mustard (yecch), raw onions (yecch), and weirdly-green relish (the relish I like but the food coloring I could live without). Terrible. I like hot dogs, but I got real tired of everyone around Chicago clutching their pearls and fainting when I would put ketchup on my hotdog.

If he had marginally better talent at TT he would have won a national championship. RIP Pirate.

I ate a lot of bologna sandwiches as a kid. I still love em but they’re crap for nutrition.
