Very very well explained. I have a suzuki gsxr 750. Motorcycle. And my resevoir tank is always empty. I think it's the rad cap. An oem cap is $37 from duzuki directly ad i rly wish it fixes the issue.

Didn’t realize mine was bad and thought my car was messed up because it kept saying high temp but the number wouldn’t go high like the gauge. Thankfully got it towed and will be getting a new cap in the morning

It is also recommended to replace rad cap every 50, 000 kms, even if you're using coolant just to be sure

I have dodge v8 original thermostat open 95° fan start in 105° in our summer 🌡️ 47-50 so I change thermostat to 82° cap 18 psi can i change to 16

On #3 the clog.. if that happens does the collapse happen only when the engine is running? My upper hose collapses only have motor is off and cooled... when running the hose is fully open? Ive yet to try 1 or 2 options

My car only has a cap on the overflow tank, not on the radiator. 2002 chrysler 300m but I'm having problems with my cars heat. The heat works for a little bit then blows cold. I just noticed that the seal on the cap is brittle and falling apart. Can this cap be the problem?

Any idea why my overflow tank is always empty? I have filled it, and then when I check it a few days later it’s empty. It’s always empty but the radiator has coolant in it. I don’t see a leak anywhere. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Mine will overheat easier then normal and blow everything out through the reservoir, also boiling in the reservoir when it is caught before it blows out. I'm talking blow the lid open and erupting like a volcano lol. At first I was thinking stuck thermostat but now I'm leaning towards the cap. Even though I inspected the cap and nothing seems wrong I assume it could still be bad maybe. 1 way to find out I suppose lol

Just seen your video. Can the bad radiator cap ruined the radiator? Going to the 3rd radiator. Checked for leak on head gasket checked out good. And when I installed new radiator I did not replace the cap.
