As a person who used to make vroid avatars, i kinda suggest VRoid if you're starting out with avi creation! It's not the best, sure (-not to mention that the avis look like dog water on quest-) but it's really fun to play around with and pretty beginner friendly! I made about uhh.. 16 models in my spare time using it.

Once you feel like you've had enough of using the program, the world of blender (or just actual modelling) is ready whenever you are!

Been tinkering a bit with avatar creation...
I guess one thing about VRoid is that you can't have "full" creative control, but it sure is a damn good alternative for making a normal looking avatar without learning blender + unity

Of course this is easy. Anyone can do this. However this method only works for pc/pcvr. What people really want is a vr compatible avatar. It's a little tricky but I've made a few.
