Guys: dropshipping is NOT sending cheap products to customers. Shitty people definitely do that. But you're simply outsourcing production, some suppliers are good, most are bad lol

As you said, it's one of the oldest scams...in 1970's and 80's, magazine ads were full of gurus selling how to get rich.

The truth is...scammers make money off of people, who they know...are greedy. So they usually dont feel guilty about scamming people. Scammers use people's "greediness", to profit off of them. They figure, if you werent so greedy...then you wouldnt get scammed. It has been happening since the beginning of time. Play to someone's greed...and you can profit off of them. Meanwhile...they act like they are your "best friend", or that...they just "like to share their know how", or...they just want to "help you"...but deep down inside...they are laughing at you...

Something else that needs to be mentioned is that some of these people don't actually do drop shipping. So many of these youtubers just make videos hoping to get views on whatever is popular without actually having done the work. They will go from drop shipping to talking about ai. Another subject they have no experience with

About the picks and shovels thing. So many fake gurus shift to selling people books and courses instead of making money off what they claimed to be good at. Like a certain real estate guy talking about non existent rich fathers who has no back ground in economics but is constantly quoted about how the market it going to tank. He made most of his money from selling books and courses

saying "its just a scam, its all a scam!" isnt any proof of a scam, also youtubers selling courses on how to dropship doesnt mean that dropshipping itself is a scam. same way how me cheating in a video game doesnt mean that the video game is only for cheaters or the game is a cheater game. its complete nonsense.

Great video! Sad part is those who need it probably won't find it or bother to watch it, because they want those "scammers" to be right about their promises. I wasted a lot of money to similar promises, but I call them bottom feeders instead. I think it's more accurate. When it comes to guru's what I've learned is follow the money. There are a lot of fake gurus or charlatans who pretend to be experts and sell you their course. If a popular YouTube channel sell a course on how to become a content creator it be valid, but like Chris said himself why would you sell the secret sauce, but some will. However if a YT channel sells a course for anything else, think twice and do your due diligence, because odds are high that the YT channel is their main source of income even if they say otherwise.

Chris, I have to disagree with you on this one as drop-shipping isnt always a scam, it depends on what you are shipping out.

For example, I drop shipped my (ex)wife after 15 years of a so-so marriage and seeing it not going to get better in 2009 and the income I saved ever since is massive.🤭(no offense to those happily married!)
