Dramatic bodycam footage captured the moment New York police officers rescued a man from a subway track seconds before a train pulled into the station in Harlem on Thursday (Nov 24).

The video released on Saturday (Nov 26) showed a bystander helping the man as officers jumped on to the track to pull the victim to safety.

“With only seconds to spare and a subway train heading toward them, two NYPD officers from the 25 Precinct leapt into action and rescued an injured male off the subway tracks with the assistance of a good Samaritan,” the New York Police Department posted on Facebook.

The man was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, the NYPD said.

Local media reported the man had fallen onto the tracks accidentally and he suffered injuries to his hand and back.

Aw, so sweet of you to report breaking news straits times. Do they pay you to write these fluff pieces or are you incapable of independent journalism without a western arm guiding your pen?
