BIOS is an interface to control the computer for the computer manufacturer, as opposed to an interface for applications or for computer users. So while an IT professional should be aware of what BIOS is, they should use it as Read Only and shouldn't modify the BIOS settings, unless specifically instructed by the computer manufacturer. Is that correct?
