"Rule, Britannia!" is a British patriotic song, originating from the 1740 poem "Rule, Britannia" by James Thomson and set to music by Thomas Arne in the same year. It is most strongly associated with the Royal Navy, but is also used by the British Army.

Performed by the Band of the Life Guards.

No way. You displayed our previous and I’d say most patriotic and favorite anthem of Great Britain. In my view, this is way better than "God Save the King"
I’m getting chills. Such a Pompeous and thrilling song. Marvellous and Glorious!

When did this song become popular? I read somewhere that during Lord Nelson's lifetime, Hearts of Oak was the main naval song.
