So damn true. A lot of us from this generation have been brought up in single mother homes, and if nothing else it can teach us what NOT to do with our families.

I need there for my kids and been very hands on father. I've worked hard, so my wife can stay home to homeschool our 2 children. Some how I'm failing as a husband. I can never do enough, make enough or be the person my wife wants me to be. We are separated and I listen to all these men who saw their ways and changed. I ask myself have they changed to fit there wives needs and expectations and not be them selves? I just don't get it. My mother was a stay
Home mom and dad had is own business. They were the June and Ward Clevers of my day. My father never cook (except grilling) cleaned the house and carpooled us kids. Today I've done all that plus take care of the out side of the house and work my company and still I'm the husband that falls short. If a divorce comes to fulfillment, I will never marry again. I'd rather live alone and be happy than married and miserable with no say in my life. I know I'm not perfect. But I'm not the awful guy I'm told I am.
