I had the Obra 1's, easily my favorite colorway of these boots. I held on to them for nearly 7 years before they fell apart.

I’ll never forget when I used the Obra 1 original yellow colour way for my school competition. Scenario was, we needed a draw to clinch 3rd place and we were 0-1 down. We had a freekick around the last few minutes. I decided to take it. I was thinking of dipping it but when I did my run up I hit the ball dead middle and it went under the wall and lowly slid into the bottom just barely out of reach of the goalie and it went in. Even though we clinched 3rd I will never forget that moment. Best boots ever.

Oh the times these were on the market... These were indeed legendary. As a winger though, I really do miss hypervenom phantoms. Especially the black-orange ones and neon yellow-purple ones

I remember seeing them during champions league with the bright colours and I wondered what they were.

I had the opra 2 and they are the nicest boots you could ever have

Idk why they discontinued it. I have wide feet and these were the most comfortable.(Though I bought a take-down model)

I went through 2 Pro Tech Models…..just bliss on your feet. Can’t believe they were replaced by the Visions…Bring them back!

The most difficult decision of my life was to decide between these and the hypervenoms. I chose the hypervenom, but bought a pair of these for my brother and we'd usually trade shoes lol. Man, were those good times. And i bought them off of unisport too, my first import to India!

I liked the venoms tbh, though I know I would’ve switched to a defender cleat later down the road since as I got older I was in defense, the pink, white and blue hypers will always be a top 5 for me tho
