Huge queues have formed around Buckingham Palace towards Green Park as thousands of mourners wait in line to leave their tributes to the late Queen Elizabeth II - while staff temporarily close the underground station to manage the masses.

Piles and piles of flowers are growing by the minute in the royal park beside Buckingham Palace as it slowly becomes spot for members of the public to pay their respects for Her Majesty.

Park staff have been moving tributes placed at the palace gates to Green Park to make space for the public to continue to get as close as they can to the King's new home as the nation comes to terms with the Queen's death.
