Prototyping has never been easier or cheaper…

When I started my sunglasses company I remember trying to figure out the best way to create prototypes of the custom designs that we were working on. Getting several samples made overseas with minor changes just didn't seem like a good idea due to cost and time... So, we ended up finding a 3D printing company called Makexyz. They allow you to send your 3D CAD designs to someone with a 3D printer in your area who will mail you prototypes within a week. I loved using this website, and it allows you to knock a ton of time off the prototyping stage.
